London Metal band Hilltops Are For Dreamers has released their new single, “The First Day Of Winter,” taken from their upcoming EP, which is set to drop in May 2025 via Hilltops Recordings. The EP title will be announced soon.
This follows their previous release, the 3-song EP “The Tragedy Of Being Human,” which came out a year ago.

HAFD mastermind Vasilis Papageorgakopoulos shared his thoughts on the new track:
“The First Day of Winter’ is a hard rock/alternative metal song about losing faith and rediscovering self-belief to spark personal change. It’s one of the most straightforward songs we’ve ever written, with a chorus that sticks with you from the first listen. The single’s artwork features a photograph taken in Swedish Lapland, which we felt perfectly captures the essence of the lyrics and the overall vibe of the track. The song was produced and mixed by Vasilis Papageorgakopoulos”
