London-based Metal band Hilltops Are For Dreamers have released their latest single, “The Oath,” offering fans a powerful glimpse into their forthcoming EP, set for release on May 16, 2025, via Hilltops Recordings. Check out the official video for “The Oath” through the YouTube player below:
Following last month’s release of “The First Day of Winter,” both tracks will appear on the as-yet-untitled EP. This new chapter comes a year after their previous project, the three-track EP “The Tragedy of Being Human.”
Frontman and producer Vasilis Papageorgakopoulos shared some insight into the track:
“‘The Oath’ is a hard-hitting rock and alternative/gothic metal anthem that explores the darkest corners of the mind, while also embracing the strength that comes with healing. It carries a heavy metal intensity, enriched with elements of Goth and Doom. I produced and mixed it with the intention of pushing those boundaries.”
