British Prog multi-instrumentalist Ian Neal has released an almost 13-minute Prog epic titled “The Vale of Linden.” The song is taken from Neal’s fourth solo album, “Barkston Ash” which will be released later this year.
“The Vale of Linden“ features complex mono-synth melodies, heavier guitar passages, lashings of mellotron, a late 70s vibe and tons of atmosphere with hints of Renaissance, Hackett, Tony Banks and Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds. Τhe narration is based around a poem by Lionel Johnson.
