Supernatural Cat Records, the label operated by members of Ufomammut and the Malleus Rock Art Collective, welcomes Italian quartet Bosco Sacro for the release of their second album, “Inhabit,” today unveiling the album’s details including a mesmerizing video for the title-track.

Bosco Sacro was formed in 2020 by Paolo Monti (The Star Pillow, DAIMON), Giulia Parin Zecchin (Julinko), Luca Scotti, and Francesco Vara (both formerly of Tristan da Cunha, with Vara also active in Altaj). Inspired by the sublime and restorative power of nature and its landscapes and driven by a shared belief in music as a healing and liberating force, they create immersive soundscapes where dreamlike atmospheres, slow-moving rhythms, and spiritual depth converge.
Since their inception, Bosco Sacro have performed throughout Italy and Europe, appearing at festivals such as Brutal Assault, A Colossal Weekend, Frantic Fest, Curtarock, and Bear Stone. Their live performances have earned praise for their passionate, cathartic, ritualistic, and immersive nature, establishing the band as one of the most distinctive voices emerging from Italy’s contemporary underground scene.
Bosco Sacro’s critically acclaimed debut, “Gem,” was recorded with producer Lorenzo Stecconi and released in 2023 via Avantgarde Music. In 2025, following an artistic residency at Villa Albrizzi Marini in San Zenone degli Ezzelini, the band released “Live At Chiesa Armena” via Go Down Records, capturing a performance recorded inside a striking 17th-century church.
Bosco Sacro’s second studio album, “Inhabit” is a captivating exercise in sonic existentialism and a bold departure from their prior work. Entirely composed live in their rehearsal room and recorded by the band over a seven-day session with producer Lorenzo Stecconi, the album captures a raw, collective energy. Across eight interconnected tracks, the band crafts a modern ritual of ego dissolution and rebirth, weaving a diverse sonic tapestry where the crushing weight of Doom and Slowcore meets the weightless beauty of Dreamgaze, Ambient, and Trip-Hop.
“Inhabit” was recorded by Bosco Sacro with producer Lorenzo Stecconi (Amenra, Zu, Ufomammut, Lento) at Daniele Onori’s AMM, Monteggiori Studio, immersed in the hills of Tuscany, mixed and mastered by Stecconi at Triple Sun in Rome.
The dialogue between the physical and the metaphysical is embodied by the album’s artwork. The cover features Testa di Terra (Head of Earth), a striking raw clay sculpture by Italian artist Roberta Busato. Just like the music within, the sculpture is born from the soil, fragile yet enduring. Depicted with closed eyes, the face alludes to a deeply meditative state, serving as the ultimate visual incarnation of the album’s concept: a bold invitation to step out of the noise of customary, ordered life, embrace the fertile void, and leap headfirst into a world where the future and the past exist all at once. Artwork from the regular edition reappears within the layers of the limited edition, connecting the two versions. The limited cover features an irregularly shaped cutout and holds four differently colored inserts; these, too, are concentrically die-cut to reveal the final layer, the hidden object emerging from within: the disc itself, an artifact to be unearthed and listened to. The inner sheets can be rotated randomly, ensuring that every single copy of the limited edition has a slightly different appearance.
The first preview of “Inhabit” arrives through its title track, which opens the album, delivered through a somber video created by Michele Canevari. The band reveals of the song: “‘Inhabit’ is a mantra born from a deep, deliberate, and obsessive search between the textures of a guitar loop and a mystical vocal melody. We took different paths, pushed boundaries, and ultimately landed on the sound that feels closest to our roots, yet new to us. Conceptually, it explores the paradox of human attachment and serves as an invitation to dissolve into the present moment.”
