Italian Math/Progressive Rock duo Gotho launches new single “Miami Weiss” from upcoming debut album “Mindbowling” via Controcanti Produzioni on October 28, 2022. The band launches their new single “Miami Weiss.” available for stream through the YouTube player below.
Gotho‘s proposal is mainly influenced by Math and Progressive Rock, but is heavily contaminated by metal elements and more. The project released its debut single “Gatta De Blanc” in the summer of 2020, immediately achieving great success, even though the duo – Fabio Cuomo (Elder, Liquido Di Morte) on synths and Andrea Peracchia (Tons, Dogs For Breakfast) on drums – was already very busy planning new material, which now demonstrates the band’s desire for experimentation.
If the single was an offbeat journey through various influences, Gotho‘s first album is something even richer and more unpredictable.
Gotho is a band that relies entirely on improvisation to get its message across, and this adventurous attitude shines through to the fullest on “Mindbowling.”
The album is to all intents and purposes the result of a studio recording without any kind of overdubbing: all tracks evoke the most disparate feelings, in a mocking journey full of twists and turns.
