After eight years from the previous studio album “There and back again” and six from the double live video / audio “Thunder, flash, lightning” (Marduk / Self), going through two line-up changes, the Kalevala h.m.s. they reappear to the public with their fourth album,
“IF WE ONLY HAD A BRAIN” fifteen tracks (11 original and 4 covers widely reworked) which are an imaginary chronicle of the world disasters to come and a celebration of the disasters of the band, which now presents itself with a violist / violinist to replace the accordion, an instrument that has characterized their sound for fifteen years.
Recorded in May 2019 at “Noise Studio” by Francesco Chiari (Parma), a particularly full-bodied album was created consisting of 15 tracks, of which 4 are decidedly re-arranged and personal covers so as to acquire the status of original songs. Mastered at “La Maestà” by Giovanni Versari who worked with Muse – Diodato – Francesco Gabbani – The Vibrations – Piero Pelù – Irene Grandi – Vinicio Capossela …
