[News] King’s X signed with InsideOut Music, announce the new LP and reveal the tour dates

The legendary King’s X, formed by dUg Pinnick, Ty Tabor and Jerry Gaskill, are pleased to announce the signing with Germany’s InsideOut Music / Sony. The band recently completed work on their new album, the 13th in the band’s discography and the first unreleased album in over 14 years, scheduled for release on September 2, 2022.

The comment of the band: “I feel like it’s been an eternity since we released a new album and I’m ready to let the whole world hear our latest work; there’s a little bit of everything you love about King’s X. The groove is on our side!” – dUg Pinnick

It’s happening again! The new record will be out soon. I am happy to work with the InsideOut / Sony Music team. I am happy with the record. I am happy that everyone will be able to hear it. It is a happy day. Or at least that’s what I tell myself. I hope you enjoy!!!” – Jerry Gaskill

I have a longstanding relationship with InsideOut and I am so happy that InsideOut / Sony is about to release the new King’s X album.” – Ty Tabor

The comment of InsideOut Music label manager Thomas Waber: “We’ve known the guys forever and we’ve been fans even before then. We can’t wait to add another album to their impressive legacy. Working on a King’s X album is always a highlight and an honor for all of us!

The band’s new album saw them work with engineer and producer Michael Parnin (Rage Against the Machine, Mark Lanegan) at his Blacksound Studio in California.

Parnin‘s own comment: “I am very proud of the energy and work put into this album, especially of all the different vocal performances and the various musical influences mixed together. In true King’s X style we had several obstacles to overcome and it wasn’t easy. Hopefully it will be worth it for the incredible diehard fans out there who have waited so patiently and for the new initiates who will hear King’s X for the first time. It’s an honest job full of love, I’m thrilled that the world can finally hear it.
