The Finnish Occult rock torchbearer Krypta returns with a new album “Unen Oma,” out on April 10, 2026 via Svart Records. Combining catchy hooks and melodic distorted guitars, Krypta‘s poetic and melancholic lyrics stem from the mysticism, Horror, and romance of the mind. In Krypta‘s songs, the human mind is like a valley where nothing is what it seems — one’s own deluded thoughts lead to paths that one never knew they would end up walking. In Krypta‘s world, the dimensions of time and space are one, and this is reflected in the lyrics’ contemplative nature. Despite their melancholy, however, the lyrics always contain a glimmer of hope.
Thematically, the lyrics on the upcoming album “Unen Oma” explore the interface between lies and truth, the many dimensions of dreams, and the end of the world, without forgetting comfort and mercy.
