Seven years after the previous “Colostrum,” Italian band Le Scimmie return with a new album “Adriatic Desert,” to be released on April 27, 2023 by Frekete! Records. Stream the single “Acid Lime” through the YouTube player below:
With this new work, the project of Angelo ‘Xunah’ Mirolli, accompanied on this record by drummer Marco D’Aulerio, sees a return to the duo formation with a more sandy and fiery sound than ever before.
“‘Adriatic Desert’,” Mirolli comments, “was born during intense walks along the shoreline of the Adriatic coast of Abruzzo and took shape with Marco in long jam sessions in the rehearsal room to the sound of Big Muff and amplifiers pushed to the limit.“

“‘Acid Lime’ is the last track written before closing the record and entering the studio. It was chosen as the album’s opener because of its characteristics: an impactful, energetic and edgy, as always ‘riff-based’ track. The perfect track to start plunging into Adriatic Desert!,” comments the band.
