After a year of doubts about its usefulness, the validity of its content and the need to add another debatable opinion to the social and cultural entropy that surrounds us, I allow myself the boldness to feel happy to announce the publication of my first book “Breviario Del Produttore Artistico.”
I read, somewhere, that technology has changed the cognitive faculties in charge of understanding reality… I certainly hope not, and I hope – instead – that this clumsy authorial attempt of mine may turn into a journey of discovery toward the center of Music, which is free from all directions, means and ends.

From Saturday, May 18, “Breviario Del produttore Artistico” (Volontè&Co), the new book by Italian guitarist and record producer Corrado Rustici with a foreword by Narada Michael Walden, will be in bookstores and digital stores.
In “Breviario Del Produttore Artistico,” Corrado Rustici describes, drawing from his more than fifty years of experience in the music industry, the role of the artistic producer by explaining its tasks, specifics and necessary knowledge. The author guides the reader through the transformations that the environment and music has undergone, bringing examples and situations experienced on his own skin analyzing them from all points of view; author, musician and producer.
Enriching the manual is the introduction in which Corrado explains how the advent of new technologies has inevitably changed music and everything that orbits around it.
“How helpful this book will be for aspiring producers of an artistic work, I don’t know for sure,” says Corrado Rustici, “My hope is that it will at least serve as a useful breviary for the inspired and daring professional eager to explore the depths of their artistic and musical levels.“
Corrado Rustici will present his first book on May 29 in Milan at Birdland bookstore (Via Vettabbia,9) at 6:15 pm. The meeting will be moderated by Marco Volontè and Francesca Santoro. A book signing session is planned at the end of the presentation.
