According to NASA, the new moon phase is the ‘invisible phase of the Moon, with the illuminated side of the Moon facing the Sun and the night side facing Earth.’
This new moon, however, we’re respectfully ignoring the science and concentrating firmly on the Bright-Side of things. Oh, and also forgoing the ‘in-visible’ in favour of the more concise and immersive In-Side of…. The Court.
Just like last month, the Bright-Side is mixed by Mark ‘Spike’ Stent and the In-Side is mixed in 360 Sound by Hans-Martin Buff. Both are out now. Stream “The Court (Bright-Side Mix)” through the YouTube player below:
In one of last month’s messages, we quoted Peter talking a little bit about the Atmos mixes. In the video below he goes into greater detail about how he feels the respective approaches of Tchad Blake, Spike Stent and Hans-Martin Buff differ. Find out who is the sculptor and who is the painter…

We’re a bit later than usual sending this new moon update because we wanted to also be able to let you know about an additional live show that has just been announced this morning in the UK at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham on Tuesday 20 June.
The Nottingham show goes on general sale on Friday 24 February at 10am GMT, but tomorrow, Tuesday 21 February, we will send you a link to a fan pre-sale, which will start tomorrow at 10am GMT.

Finally for this instalment, and talking about sculptors, many of you will know already that The Court is accompanied by a cover image that depicts the ritual installation Lifting the Curse by Tim Shaw. The photograph is by Steve Tanner. We’re working on a short film about Tim, where he talks in fascinating detail about his work and the story behind to Lifting the Curse, and hope to share that soon. In the meantime, do check his work out here: https://www.timshawsculptor.com/?mc_cid=04504ecf3e&mc_eid=a9aa06ba8e
