Italian Progressive Rock act Lifestream published the official lyric video for “Pillars of creation” taken from new album “Alter Echo” out on January 2023 via Lizard Records. Watch the video through the YouTube player below:
“Alter Echo” is the second album of Lifestream, after the excellent “Diary,” in which the Tuscan band reaffirms the compositional mastery and melodic brilliance in combining Progressive and Hard Rock textures with AOR sound.
13 songs divided into 3 parts: “Ego,” “Omnis,” “Echo,” a captivating journey, full of guitar-keyboard weaves and evocative atmospheres.
A concept album which tells the story of two similar worlds but divided by time and space.
A disastrous evolutionary rise of one of the peoples makes their planet inhospitable and, having learned of the existence of the twin planet, they make a journey in search of a new home. Arrived at their destination they find only the ruins of what was the other people who in the meantime made the exact same mistakes. The oldest and most forgotten fears come out until, like a sort of involution, they find themselves forced to repeat their story again.
In another reading it is a comparison between modern man and primitive man, between reason and instincts, between awareness and indifference.
