Porto, Portugal based Symphonic Progressive Metal female-fronted band Living Tales published the official music video for the single “Rising” taken from their upcoming new album “Hades,”due out on April 03, 2025. Watch the video through the YouTube player below:
“Hades” is a concept/storytelling album following the events of the 2022 album “Persephone.” The new record is darker sounding and heavier in order to catch the essence of the story, and create a sounding environment around the themes, which is centered between the main character of the previous album and the new one. The album uses Greek mythology characters to create embodiment to the story, to give a sense of personality and depth to all characters. However by no means is the intention to follow the classical mythological history already written and known, at best it can be seen as some kind of “what if” the story was this way. The pace and tension of the album is meant to be high and fast-breathing almost all the time to follow the story, either instrumental or lyrically.
