Danish artists Lucid Grave, Gaia, Bethmoora and Drukner teamed up for Portishead Doom tribute compilation, “Refuse To Surrender (A Tribute To Portishead),” which was just released on August 30, 2024 via Vinyltroll Records and Virkelighedsfjern.
“Refuse To Surrender” is a Danish Doom tribute to the legendary band Portishead. Bethmoora, Drukner, Lucid Grave and Gaia can be heard on the record, which will be released through Vinyltroll Records and Virkelighedsfjern. All profits from the record will go to Sind Ungdom, which is an organisation that works to create a better life for young people with mental disorders in Denmark. There will be a release party for the record on August 30 at Studenterhuset in Copenhagen, where all the tracks will be performed by the four bands in a constellation where collaboration is a central factor. Don’t miss this, most likely, very unique concert.
