Manchester, UK based Heavy Rockers Luna Marble have released a music video for the second single “Sea Of Sorrow” taken from their forthcoming debut album, which will see the light later this year. Watch the official music video for through the YouTube player below:
From a dark and introspective intro to hard hitting riffs, grooves and their signature uplifting choruses, this song showcases the true depth of the band; something that was not featured on their previous releases.
Maria wrote this song all the way back in 2018 and had even performed it with a different band for a University concert. Later on, during lockdown when the band was formed she brought it in the rehearsal room and after some tweaking from the rest of the band one of the first ever Luna Marble songs was born.
About the lyrics…
“The song explores the struggle of being stuck in the wrong place and wanting to take matters into your hands. While the choruses are uplifting, they also express the difficulty of finding yourself lost in the process.“
About the production…
“Sea of Sorrow features a more ambitious production style. Multiple guitar layers, creative arrangements, numerous vocal stacks and counter-melodies. Maria’s passion for production really shines on this record pushing the classic
rock sound of the band to new territories.“

About Luna Marble:
Formed in 2020, Manchester based Luna Marble likes to describe themselves as a contemporary Classic Rock band inspired by the Blues and Psychedelia from the 70s. With supercharged stadium-ready tunes the band marries their anthemic choruses with ethereal textures and enchanting melodies taking this well-loved genre to their own territory. The band has been compared to acts like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Rival Sons and Soundgarden.
Inspired by the live raw energy of the 70s, the band is not afraid to showcase their talent and musicianship on stage through their performances often described as ‘mesmerising and electrifying’ that will have you banging your head from the beginning of their set. Through stage outfits and starry stage decorations, the band has well established their own cosmic like ethos, immersing the audience into an audiovisual experience that makes the band stand out from the rest of the music scene.
2023 was a breakthrough year for the band starting with a tour in Denmark and gaining high profile support slots in sold out shows in famous hometown venues like Deaf Institute and Manchester Academy 3. Later on the year the band hosted their 3rd self run headline show selling out Night & Day. Later on, the band won the battle of the bands which earned them a spot at Firevolt Festival. Finishing the year with a debut sold out show in London and an album announcement, it’s no secret that the band is making a lot of noise worth checking out in 2024.
