Major Parkinson are pleased to announce that they will release their 5th studio album on October 7, 2022. That’s barely more than two months from now! The name is “Valesa – Chapter 1: Velvet Prison,” and you can feast your eyes on the front cover just above this text.
Well, as previously established, Valesa#1 is Major Parkinson‘s 5th studio album.
It’s a double album, clocking in at exactly 60 minutes, with two clearly defined parts distributed over 17 tracks, and is perhaps the most ambitious work to date by Major Parkinson. The entire album is designed as one seamless sequence, and will be best enjoyed played from start to finish. Like any album worth its salt.
And while Blackbox is akin to navigating a tiny boat through a dark, labyrinthine vortex of whirlpools and cyclones, this album is more like riding a convertible on an ocean boulevard in a scorching, psychedelic sunset with mushroom clouds going off in the distance. Maybe. You’ll get to make up your own mental images. Anyway, this is the only thing you need to know right now.
