About March Of Scylla:
March Of Scylla was originally a studio project born of collaboration between Greg, former member of Melodic Death band Ö-Nirik and Chris, the band’s current guitarist. Gilles, drummer with Death Metal band Ashura, gradually joined the project, soon joined by Rob on bass and Florian a former Progressive Death Metal singer. The first 6 tracks are finalized during the first confinement, mixed by Greg and mastered by Francis Caste at Studio Ste Marthe in Paris.
The “Archives” EP has been available on all platforms since December 2020…
The band begins to play a series of concerts, and receives a number of offers for 2023, including an appearance on the TV show “Les hauts en Scène” on France 3 and an appearance on the TV news!
Their second EP, the darker “Dark Myth,” is released in May 2023, and is well received by the public and the specialist press. The band’s style becomes becomes more Progressive and darker… with raging riffs and powerful, liberating melodies…. Early 2024 was marked by selection for the Inouïs du Printemps de Bourges, work on the next album and selection for the Objectif Lune program offered by the famous Amiens SMAC La Lune Des Pirates.
March Of Scylla‘s songs speak of the most basic human anxieties, injustices and emotional distress…. The lyrics are personal, but the universal dimension of human history is always present.
