[News] Matziz published the official video for the track “Singer le Singe” taken from his latest album

French Elctronic/Jazz Prog/Fusion artist Matziz published the official video for the track “Singer le Singe” taken from his latest album “BILIA” out on June 07, 2024 via Luminol Records. Watch the video through the YoTube player below:

BILIA,” (International Brigade for the Liberation of Artificial Intelligence).

It was composed as the soundtrack to a fictional Manga (but which may one day be released in real life!!)

It deals with artificial intelligence’s quest for peace and freedom in a very dominant capitalist world, which sees it as just another tool to be exploited for morbid comfort.

It’s also a question of presenting the few allies of AI who are working collectively for greater collegiality and cooperation and to counter a little of the restrictive dogma of industrial, productivist thinking, which doesn’t sit well with the imaginary and the necessary degree of useful freedom to be granted in order to properly enter the dream and actually create something.

As far as style is concerned, it’s always somewhere between Electro – Trip-Hop – IDM – weird French Touch – and a good deal of influence from the original Techno, Punk and Heavy Metal.
