We are thrilled to announce the signing of Robert Svilpa for his upcoming releases “Foucault’s Pendulum” and “To Sleep, Perchance to Dream.” Robert is an enigma – iconoclastic in how he tears down boundaries and beliefs held dear in music and just about anything else, mercurial in his approaches to creativity in writing and music. All while honoring influences by pushing against the tried and true – eschewing the easy path to grow in skills and incorporate everything he hears and listens to into his work.
“Foucault’s Pendulum” to be officially be released on March 11, 2022 with pre-orders kicking off on February 11, 2022. Roberts’s first public appearance for “Foucault’s Pendulum” will be an acoustic solo performance in the beer Garden during RoSFest at the Sarasota Opera House on Sunday, April 15th: 12:30 – 1:30.
In a statement about the signing to MRR Robert had this to say: “Nick and I have been talking about this day for a very long time now – at least since 2009 when I had just released the “a fine line between…” album. To finally be able to arrive here and have my latest album “Foucault’s Pendulum” be a part of the fantastic roster of artists and music is very special to me – I’m very proud to be a part of the MRR family!”
