Messe is a group from Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada.
It’s a punchy, groovy and Stoner sound. It’s music to jump, scream, sweat and feel young and alive. They combine their musical style with the French language, make a lot of noise with few instruments and have a particular attraction to the color purple.
It is above all a visceral project, which goes straight to the point. They present to the public a show high in energy, breathless and above all exhilarating.
“J’Mettrai Le Feu” is an EP of 5 songs, an ambitious project with very “in your face” sounds. It’s a big collage of influences where we find ourselves as much in the era of fringes and bell bottoms as that of flannels and caped boots.
The project was recorded at Aurum Waves Studio in Moncton N.B, Canada August 2023.
