“Underwater” is the third single from the Progressive Metal/Djent band Metaphoric Mind. The piece expresses the need to re-emerge from a troubled and dark reality, which draws us into a whirlwind of events, from which it seems impossible to escape, as if it were a strong sea current, which drags us deep away from the shore. The desire for redemption animates the text, the only certain thing is not the final salvation, but the individual drive to fight against adversity. The video was entirely recorded in the pandemic period, inside the homes of the band members, by Syo The Producer; post-produced by Light & Motion.
The band says: “The song reflects the need to re-emerge from a tormented and obscure reality, that draws us into a whirlwind of events, from which it appears impossible to evade, as if it was a forceful sea current, dragging us in depths far from the shore. The desire for redemption animates the lyrics, the only certainty is not the final salvation, but the individual impulse to fight against adversities.“
