Prog lovers are in for a treat during MidWinter Prog Festival. In collaboration with Glassville Music and Doomstar Bookings, we present a winter edition of the annual MidSummer Prog Festival. Five carefully selected bands play a full set in our attractive Main Hall. In addition to the performances, the hall is also filled with various food and beverage options, merchandise, DJs and more!
Pain Of Salvation is at the top of the line-up and will be flown in for Midwinter Prog Festival. The band presents their very well-received album “Panther” (2020) here for the first time in the Netherlands, which was released on the leading InsideOut Music label. Well-known songs are also included in the extensive set list. Second headliner Spock’s Beard has not been to our country for several years and travels especially for the festival. The Prog Rock supergroup provides the audience with an exclusive concert full of highlights from their career. Lazuli will also drive from the south of France to Utrecht especially for this festival to perform their much-discussed album “Onze” (2023), released earlier this year, in addition to other favorite songs from the repertoire. The band is known for its live reputation, using a number of exceptional instruments such as the self-developed “Le Léode.” For the first time ever on a Dutch stage, supergroup Temic appears , consisting of members who have already made their mark with Devin Townsend, Mike Portnoy’s Shattered Fortress, Neal Morse and Haken, among others. Their debut album will be released this fall on Season of Mist. The festival will be opened by the Norwegian formation Meer, who deliver a bombastic but melodic whole with their polyphonic, orchestral sound.
