Formed in 2020 as a classic three-piece band, Mos Eisley Spaceport became a duo in spring 2022. For the band members Guido and Sebastian this was both a challenge and a chance: Rethinking songs, arrangements but also their gear and live rigs was a special mission and fueled creativity in unexpected ways. The outcome of this process is an approach that’s both more streamlined, but also much more playful than ever before.
A wormhole located in the door of their practice room takes Mos Eisley Spaceport straight to the year 1972 on a small circumbinary desert planet in the outer rims of a galaxy far away… They become a bunch of longhaired, bell-bottomed hippies, forced to play Heavy Fuzz-Driven Psych Rock for hours and hours. The power duo Mos Eisley Spaceport transforms crushing drums, endless guitar solos, glowing lava lamps and Heavy Fuzz tones into an energetic and dynamic live experience that will seriously melt your face.
