“Crystals in the Sky” is the second single taken from “Cyberfunk!”, the forthcoming new album by Mother’s Cake that will be released on 18th September 2020.
A psych rock song in half-time tempo, replete with heavenly harmony choirs, devilish riffs and a horizon full of delay, “Crystals in the Sky“ is a trip through the infinity of space that commences in a colourful, euphoric state and leads through mind-bending fractal worlds, all while keeping its groove on. Triggering memories of psychedelic glories from the past, it also sounds very much of the present.
With initial album teaser single ‘Toxic Brother’ having already created quite a stir, ‘Crystals in the Sky’ (and its accompanying promo clip) is sure to raise the stakes still further.
