Noxious Mind is a musical journey into a mind slowly unraveling under the unbearable weight of reality—a phenomenon we witness all too often today.
Moving States is a five-piece Progressive Rock band out of Turku, Finland. Founded in 2019 by a group of like-minded musicians with backgrounds in several different musical styles, the band’s roots are found in Rock, Jazz, Folk, and even Classical Music, which are reflected in their willingness to combine different styles and influences.
The band’s music includes shades of 70s and 80s Progressive Rock genres as well as more recent Prog, Metal, experimental electronica, and folk music. The clear influences of Jazz and Fusion can be heard in the band’s harmonies and improvisational approach. Music tracks meander through raw, intense walls of sound, freely interchanging with descriptive subtle, Psychedelic sections. The band’s English-language works cover a wide range of topics, from world politics to the dilemmas of modern life, not to mention love and romance. In late 2021, Moving States released their first album “Exhausted” to great reviews and now in 2025 is releasing the new album “Affections & Illusions.” The band’s energetic live performances have drawn praise and therefore the band is constantly seeking for interesting opportunities to play live.
