Released at a pivotal moment in Opeth’s ascent, “Deliverance” (2002) offers a snapshot of a band refusing to stand still.
Following the breakthrough success of “Blackwater Park,” and produced in tandem with Steven Wilson, their sixth studio album boasts unapologetic heaviness, immersive songcraft, and intoxicating atmospheres, demonstrating true ambition and sonic exploration.
