Neal Morse & The Resonance have announced their return with their highly anticipated second studio album, “River of Light,” a powerful and deeply personal Progressive Rock journey, set for release November 27, 2026. The album follows the acclaimed success of their 2024 debut “No Hill For A Climber.”
Now the band is pleased to share “Shine Until Tomorrow,” the second single from the album. Watch the official video via the YouTube player below:
Neal Morse on the new single: “Love this track! I think Johnny and I wrote this together in about an hour. It was Johnny’s riff that opens the song, but when I played it on bass and put it through some effects, I think it really came out even cooler. Great band track all the way around.”
Johnny Bisaha further explains: “Real cool how this one came to life! I woke up the night before our first writing session at 3am, sang the riff into my phone, then went back to sleep. Woke up a few hours later, learned it, and wrote the first couple of verses! Brought it to Neal, and he had a chorus idea. We built that song real fast! Was an awesome writing process!”
When Neal Morse first announced Neal Morse & The Resonance in 2024, fans and critics were surprised to see the celebrated Prog Rock visionary collaborating with a group of exceptionally talented yet relatively unknown musicians. The resulting album, “No Hill For A Climber,” was met with overwhelming praise, showcasing a fresh creative chemistry that resonated strongly with audiences worldwide.
Now, just two years later, the band continues that journey with “River of Light,” an album that expands upon the musical and spiritual foundations established by its predecessor.
Musically, “River of Light” represents a true collaborative effort. While Morse remains the band’s creative anchor, the album highlights the significant contributions of guitarist Andre Madatian and vocalist Jonny Bisaha, whose influences bring a fresh energy and perspective to the material.
“River of Light” will be available as a Limited 2xCD Digipak (featuring a second disc of instrumentals), Standard CD Jewelcase & Digital Album.
