“We want to thank all of you for the progress we are making with our GoFundMe campaign.
Although there is still a long way to go, we have started the new album and have done some of the basic tracks at Shorefire Recording Studios in New Jersey. We are getting ready for the next studio sessions for vocals and final touches by working on overdubs and writing lyrics. We will add tracks as we receive additional money from our GoFundMe campaign. We will need to be ready for the end of March so we can get the finished albums/CDs in our hands in time for the June tour which is set up now and more dates will be added. We continue to receive very positive feedback from all of the venues, so we are excited to be touring again!
We will be releasing the Blu-Ray/CDs of Ron’s last concert at The Dunellen Theatre in mid-April. It has taken longer than we expected to get it ready. A Blu-Ray disc takes longer to manufacture than a DVD as it is in 1080 Hi Def and is worthwhile so the release date was pushed back a little. It will be available for purchase by Deko Entertainment and also on our website, www.nektarsmusic.com. It is a 2 1/2-hour show and turned out really great. We will use a Blu-Ray disc and 2 CDs to get it to you. It will also have a download portion with a QR code in the package in case you need to stream it on your media system.
