Nephila, confirmed for Sweden Rock Festival as well as Sounds Fair 2025, is back with the single “Solar Eclipse,” the second taste of the Swedish Psychedelic Rock band’s upcoming sophomore full-length album. The single is released digitally by The Sign Records on March 12, 2025.
Many have spoken of the fearsome Skogsrå, of how she lures even the craftiest of men into her embrace, only to steal the very essence of their souls and feed upon the forest’s eternal, mournful cries.
But she was not always this way. There was a time when she belonged to another, when she was meant to walk a different path. Then came the moment when the light was swallowed, when the heavens darkened, and fate was rewritten. In the latest release from Nephila, ”Solar Eclipse,” we get to hear the story of loss, of longing and of a love eclipsed by shadow through soft harmonies, aching guitar riffs and a chorus that Burns with grief.
