Nepsis is a collaborative project by A.L. Guillén and Tomás Gris, focused on improvisation, texture, and the physical presence of sound. The music moves slowly and deliberately, avoiding narrative explanations in favor of atmosphere, tension, and restraint.
Rather than developing themes in a traditional sense, the album explores states: fragments, silences, density, and erosion. Each piece unfolds as a process rather than a statement, inviting attentive listening and acceptance of ambiguity.
This record is not meant to guide the listener. It exists to be entered, inhabited, and left without resolution.
