NichelOdeon & Cp. Mordecai Wirikik published the official video for the single “Ho Gettato Fabrizio Corona da una Rupe perché non Somigliava a mio Figlio” taken from the album “MusicaMortoSì! (da una Rupe)” out digital on December 25, 2021 and LP on March 2022 via Snowdonia Records. Watch the video through the YouTube player below:
The video shots are taken from the Cineconcerto “L’Inferno” and were made by Massimo Max Ferlini (Varese, November 21, 2021, Teatro Nuovo) to whom our greatest thanks go.
The lyrics include quotes from Dante Alighieri “La Divina Commedia,” Bertolt Brecht “das Schiff,” messages from the Blessed Virgin Mary in Trevignano Romano, sacred texts from every era and latitude.
First LP release by Claudio Milano, collects the single from the CD, the long one trace “Ho Gettato Fabrizio Corona da una Rupe perché non Somigliava a mio Figlio,” entitled to the This Order & Coucou Sèlavy (in an alternate version
13 minutes with contributions by Niccolò Clemente), and as the B-Side the song “Ho Gettato Fabrizio Corona da una Rupe perché non Somigliava a mio Figlio“(unique composition recorded in 2021, between the months of July and August, in quintet), or a track born from the need to give sound to the performance that generated the video clip of his parallel piece by Clemente himself.
A specular trace also in length, which deals with how every religion, inviting you to believe that you are the only bearer of the “truth,” both today and yesterday instrument of war and discrimination, even if, in every tradition, God is seen in quality of “merciful mother who cannot forget her children.”
A song named NichelOdeon and Cp. Mordecai Wirikik, become at the same time part of the soundtrack of the CineConcerto “Inferno” (from the blockbuster of the silent film by 1911 directed by Francesco Bertolini, Giuseppe De Liguoro and Adolfo Padovan) which he sees three members of the aforementioned Milanese formation involved in a “live” key: Francesca Badalini, Andrea Grumelli and Claudio Milano, on behalf of I Sincopatici.
The Cineconcerto has already found an important consensus from the public and critics, who had the opportunity to see and hear him in places of excellence, between which the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Milan. In the unreleased track on the vinyl with the Sincopatici trio, as well as Niccolò Clemente (aka Cp. Mordecai Wirikik) to electronics, the Roman classical guitarist Alessandro Girotto. To outline the Dada connotations there are Dante’s quotations merged with sacred texts and a Marian messages from Trevignano Romano, Brecht, images taken from events of chronicle, geometries at the limit of the executable and the conceivable that make the piece a unicum, albeit cosmopolitan, in the musical ways between West and East and electronics piezoelectric.
The release, for Snowdonia Record, is in an ultra-limited edition (21 copies) with a fetish set attachment containing an irreverent sticker (“Dio lo Sa a chi Pensi quando ti Tocchi“), a pair of boxers embossed with the words “burn before use” and a photograph of Milan (Claudio).
In addition to the already rich offer, a second sacred set containing a kit of survival for the three days of darkness predicted by Christian mystics of all time and a “contemporary” tarot, unique creation (different for each copy) produced by Cp. Mordecai Wirikik using clippings from old fashion magazines, and used for the production of the video of “Ho Gettato Fabrizio Corona da una Rupe perché non Somigliava a mio Figlio.”
The video clip that will accompany the pre-order will immerse the listener / viewer in the magical world of cut-out paper, in the fortuitous combinations of esoteric figures-psychedelic and in the psyche of a fortune teller in a confused state.
