Nice, France based Christian/Experimental/Classical Progressive Metal artist Nicolas de Renty published the official lyric video for “Leurre Éternel” taken fro his debut album “Retour Au Bercail” out on August 27, 2024. Watch the video through the YouTube player below:
Originally a drummer, Nicolas de Renty cut his teeth in styles as varied as Jazz, Metal and Progressive Rock, before studying classical composition and counterpoint with Jean-Louis Luzignan and opera singing with Pierre Capelle, while honing his drumming skills with Jean-Paul Ceccarelli.
His universe, bubbling with multiple influences ranging from Gregorian chant to extreme metal, had to explode in all directions on numerous stages before taking shape in his own compositions.
The album “Retour Au Bercail” presents an anthology of these influences, combining the art of the fugue with Jazz-infused improvisation and deep moods ranging from the meditative calm of the 70s to the pounding of Black Metal.
