Ukrainian ensemble Obiymy Doschu return with their first music video in nine years. “Na Vidstani (At Distance)” was directed by Ukrainian videographer Andriy Korotych and offers a taste of Obiymy Doschu’s upcoming, third full-length album, expected to be released somewhere in 2021.
“Na Vidstani is a song about urban loneliness — a feeling of isolation in a crowded environment, about how people keep distance from each other in modern society, even when they share a lot in common.”
Like the band’s previous album “Son,” the new song was mixed by The Pineapple Thief’s Bruce Soord, also known for collaborations with Opeth, Anathema, Katatonia, Riverside and Tesseract.
