London, UK based Stoner/Heavy Psychedelic Rock band Okay You Win released their first live album, “Live From The Pit,” which was just released on December 08, 2023.
Okay You Win is a new Stoner/Heavy Psychedelic Rock band from London, UK, formed in late 2022. Featuring members of Empty Friend and Cavalli.
Says the band: āOur first ālive albumā release is one week old today and we just wanted to thank all of our friends, fans, blogs and supporters from across the scene for all of the amazing positive feedback that weāve had.
For a relatively ārough and readyā low-key release, intended to be an honest reflection of exactly how we sound āliveā for our friends in the underground heavy circuit, weāve been really humbled and encouraged by the response.
Huge thanks once again to Paul Annis of Gramma Vedetta for recording us at his āThe Pitā Studios and if any of our friends in our scene are seeking a similar kind of āliveā recording Iād recommend getting in touch.
Fun fact ā this photo of us, as a full band, and as four great friends, was taken just seconds after the encores finished at the recent Queens Of The Stone Age show at the The O2 a where we had been absolutely at the epicentre of the mosh pit. Drenched in beer, sweat, and having had a really life affirming experience all together as a band watching some of our heroes in action.
Thatās the reason we felt it was the absolutely most honest representation of us āfrom the Pitā ā showing us a friends, musicians, band mates, and music nerds, who go to shows and support the scene just like you.ā
