Canadian multi-instrumentalist and producer R.A. Ter Maat has launched the official full-album stream of “Stone Maater III,” the third independent release under his solo Stoner-Psych moniker Stone Maater. Released on September 3, 2026, the entire 15-track record is now available to listen to on YouTube.

Conceived, written, and home-recorded entirely by Ter Maat in Kitchener, Ontario, the project continues to carve out a distinct space in the underground Rock landscape. “Stone Maater III” blends Heavy Stoner Rock grooves with elements of Space Rock, Sludge, and extended Psychedelic jams, all performed and programmed by Ter Maat himself.
Spanning 15 tracks, the album features expansive instrumental work including Heavy groove-driven tracks like “Tribal Ministry” and the sprawling “6, 3 or 9.” In addition to original material, Ter Maat pays homage to his influences with instrumental covers of Joe Satriani’s “Forgotten” and an intro cover of Rory Gallagher’s “Edged in Blue.”
