Japanese Heavy Psychedelic Rock outfit Hibushibire have released the complete live concert performance from their headlining show at London’s Strongroom Bar.
Captured on August 27, 2026, during the UK leg of their extensive European headline tour, the concert was presented by Other Side Promotions and features visual projections created by artist DWAVEHED. The venue set served as a live focal point coinciding with the release of the Osaka quartet’s fifth studio album, “Phantom Fuzzy Exotica,” issued on August 28, 2026, via UK independent label Riot Season Records.

Featuring lineup members Changchang (guitar, vocals, bouzouki, electronics), Tetsuji Toyoda (bass, vocals), Aoi Hama (drums, vocals), and Kohei Katsuma (percussion, theremin, vocals), Hibushibire delivered a set built around Heavy 1970s Hard Rock guitar riffs, Acid-Folk structures, and extended improvisational jams.
The performance showcases material from “Phantom Fuzzy Exotica,” an album that marks a distinct evolution in the group’s songwriting by incorporating vocals across four of its five tracks. From the opening riff-driven momentum of “Mandrake Oracle” to the 13-minute reimagining of the Occitan traditional piece “Ai Vist Lo Lop,” the video captures the raw volume and stage presence of the band’s live repertoire.
