One month after the release of the first single “Closer To The Sky“, Outlanders (Tarja Turunen & Torsten Stenzel) present the official video visualizer. Watch the video through the YouTube player below:
The band also announces the release of a second single “The Cruellest Goodbye” arriving on January 28, 2022. The legendary Al Di Meola will be present as a special guest. The single will be released in 7 ″ format and digitally.

Outlanders is the ambitious new creature of Finnish soprano Tarja Turunen and EDM pioneer Torsten Stenzel. The two were joined by some of the most influential guitarists of our time as special guests on the debut album.
Tarja‘s vision of Outlanders is to create something exciting and new: The Outlanders combine cool yet thrilling electronic rhythms with Tarja‘s purely classical vocal skills and unique guitar performances. These three elements are a constant in all songs and equally important. Each song features a different guest guitarist including Al Di Meola, Joe Satriani, Jennifer Batten, Steve Rothery, Mike Oldfield, Walter Giardino, Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, Vernon Reid and Marty Friedman.
Recorded and mixed mainly on the Caribbean island of Antigua in the last 10 years, the sounds of the Outlanders are mystical, soft and powerful, catchy and dreamy, modern but with a look to the past. Their music contains opposites that magically attract each other and the three elements, an aesthetic pillar, come together to create a single sound.
