Huge thanks to Aurélien Arnoux foir letting us shoot in this wonderful place” – Parallel Minds

Sufero” is a raw and incendiary track taken from Parallel Minds’ upcoming album “Cairn.” Driven by massive riffs, a pounding rhythm section, and constant tension, the song condenses all the emotional violence and determination that run through the album. Like a cairn — a universal symbol of life, guidance, and transmission across many civilizations — “Sufero” evokes the relentless struggle to build oneself stone by stone, through pain and rage, not only to survive, but to leave a trace, a marker for those who come after us. By blending ethnic and multicultural influences with a fiercely aggressive metal approach, the album gives this fight a timeless and collective dimension. Balancing unfiltered aggression with deep symbolism, “Sufero” strikes like a manifesto: move forward, resist, guide — at all costs.

Cairn – A Heavy Metal journey through suffering, resilience, and creation

With “Cairn,” Parallel Minds delivers its most ambitious and accomplished work to date. This modern Heavy Metal album — dense, sharp, and powerful — blends strength, emotion, and technical mastery to explore a universal theme: the human condition in the face of collective suffering. Conceived as a true sonic and visual journey, “Cairn” benefits from a high-end audio production (although the final mix is not yet 100% completed) and a carefully crafted aesthetic universe. The first music video is already shot, with more to follow soon, extending this immersive experience in which each track becomes a fragment of a larger narrative — another stone added to the structure.

Musically, the album stands out for its versatility:
From sharp, nervous prog metal in the vein of Symphony X on “Sufero,” to the most raw and relentless Thrash inspired by Testament, and epic flights worthy of Blind Guardian. Each song opens a window onto a country, a culture, a people in struggle, hope, and rebirth. Razor-sharp guitars, melodic surges, and majestic orchestrations weave an emotional fresco where rage, beauty, and humanity collide.

At the heart of the album stands the symbol of the cairn: piles of stones left by travelers along their path, a metaphor for self-construction — stone by stone — and for the mark we leave to guide those who follow.

Cairn” brings together a constellation of artists from across the globe: the tribal and spiritual intensity of Arka’n Asrafokor and Silveira Lakoélé Atalawoè (Togo), alongside major figures from the French Metal scene such as Asylum PyreMuhurta, and Stone Horns, resulting in a rare sonic richness.

Between anger, compassion, and transcendence, “Cairn” is far more than an album.
It is a complete sensory experience,
a celebration of human resilience,
and a call to build our own cairns — so we never lose the way.
