Herblay, France based artist Philippe Kalfon has unveiled official music video for the single “Sweet Madness” taken from the new alnum, “My Connection,” released June 06, 2026.

Composed and arranged by Philippe Kalfon and keyboardist Thierry Dagnicourt, “Sweet Madness” is a celebration of the musical complicity that develops between musicians when they come together to create something special. Written while the album was being mixed, the track holds a particularly personal meaning for Kalfon, preserving the memory of an unforgettable moment in the studio.
“Written during the mixing of the album, this track symbolises the bond we shared in the studio. An unforgettable moment in life,” explains Philippe Kalfon.
The track features Philippe Kalfon on guitar, Philippe Gonnand on bass, Franck Ridacker on drums and Thierry Dagnicourt on keyboards. Dagnicourt also handled the mix and mastering at Shadows Studio, while Mat Ninat was responsible for the video’s filming and editing.
Philippe Kalfon is an accomplished guitarist, composer and arranger whose career spans more than six decades’ worth of musical influences and collaborations.
Ranked among the top 10 active French guitarists by specialist magazine Guitar Xtreme, Kalfon has contributed to more than 60 albums and performed internationally, with appearances in Japan, Ivory Coast, Martinique, the United States and Tahiti. His career has taken him from intimate Rock clubs to prestigious venues such as the Accor Arena and the Zénith de Paris, as well as major festivals.
His work includes a contribution to the soundtrack of the film “Subway,” alongside music by Éric Serra, and numerous instrumental compositions for radio and television. Over the years, he has accompanied artists including Éric Bamy, Florent Pagny and Fred Blondin, while contributing to projects such as Thai Phong, Shakin’ Street, Hantson, Big Ben and Stratageme. He is also the guitarist for SSB – Sloane Square Band, a Progressive Rock group gaining recognition.
Following two solo albums released in 2021 and 2023, and a live album in 2025, Kalfon returned with “My Connection,” his third studio album, on June 06, 2026. Often described by the press as a spiritual heir to Jeff Beck and Joe Satriani, he continues to explore his musical identity through expressive guitar playing, composition and collaboration.
