Portuguese project A Life of Improvisation have released their second full-length album, “SINS”, out since February 13th via Bandcamp and Spotify.

A concept album built around the seven deadly sins, “SINS” translates each vice into an instrumental sonic journey — seven tracks, each bearing the name of one sin in Portuguese: Orgulho (Pride), Gula (Gluttony), Inveja (Envy), Luxúria (Lust), Avareza (Greed), Preguiça (Sloth), and Ira (Wrath).
The project’s sound is rooted in sonic improvisation — electronic textures generated through guitar that coexist with contrasting contexts and tonalities, creating a unique and immersive listening experience. “Luxúria,” released as a standalone single in late 2025, offered the first glimpse into this shadowy, layered world before the full album arrived.

“SINS” is the follow-up to their 2023 self-titled debut and marks a clear step forward in vision and concept, confirming A Life of Improvisation as one of the more intriguing voices in Portugal’s underground experimental scene.
