Mostly Nothing, the solo project of classically-trained musician turned Progressive Rock guitarist and soundscape dreamer Sérgio Castro, has officially launched the full album stream of the new record, “Optimistic,” on YouTube. Released on August 12, 2026, the album is now fully accessible to listeners worldwide, showcasing a rich blend of Progressive Rock, Experimental Electronic, Neoclassical, and Progressive Metal.

Written, mixed, and mastered entirely by Sérgio Castro, “Optimistic” represents a deeply personal and meticulous sonic journey. The album’s striking visual identity is paired with artwork based on an original painting by José Teibão.

Spanning seven tracks, “Optimistic” explores dynamic shifts and intricate instrumentation.
