Buenos Aires, Argentina based Post-Rock/Shoegaze outfit Fin del Mundo drops new single “Una Temporada En El Invierno.”
“Una Temporada En El Invierno” is the second single taken off Fin del Mundo’s new studio album, “Hicimos crecer Un Bosque,” scheduled for release on October 18, 2024 via Spinda Records.

Fin del Mundo continues to present their highly anticipated new studio album, “Hicimos crecer un bosque” (2024, Spinda Records). A few weeks ago, they released the single “Vivimos lejos,” and now they drop another new composition of just under 4 minutes titled “Una temporada en el invierno.” Like the previous track, this song was also produced by the band itself, recorded halfway between Unisono Cerati by Estanislao López and Estudio Albatros by Nicolás Aimo (who also handled the mixing), and mastered at Estudio Metamorfosis by Sr. Warrior. Although the studio version is only now seeing the light of day, this track was already part of the repertoire they performed live at Ciclo Árbolazul (Chile) and at Los Conciertos de Radio 3 (Spain).
“The title ‘Una temporada en el invierno’ is an almost direct allusion to ‘A Season in Hell,’ a poem by the French author Arthur Rimbaud. We wanted to introduce slightly more aggressive elements than usual… The tempo is quite high, and the guitars are covered in overdrive for most of the song. The lyrics refer to a mental conversation in which, from a meta-thought perspective, a person decides not to be carried away by ideas or memories that lead to demotivation. They already know how and where their true essence is expressed, and in that discovery, they consciously choose to remain true to themselves, despite the difficulties they will encounter along the way.” – Lucía Masnatta
After a live session for KEXP in Seattle (+1.5M views), in 2023 they signed with the Spanish label Spinda Records and released “Todo va hacia el mar,” a compilation album that included their two previous EPs for the first time in physical format, earning them praise from international media. Despite being an independent band, they managed to appear on various official playlists of major streaming platforms and perform at international events like Lollapalooza Buenos Aires and Sevilla Monkey Week (where they won Radio3’s Battle of the Bands). In 2024, they joined the Fender Next program of the prestigious instrument brand, which supports the creation and distribution of independent music. The blend of styles and authenticity of Fin del Mundo’s lyrics has made them one of the most promising bands on the international Indie-Rock scene today.
“Hicimos crecer un bosque” will not be released until October 18, 2024, although “Vivimos lejos” and “Una temporada en el invierno” are out now. This release comes just one week before the start of their European tour, during which Fin del Mundo will visit various cities in Spain, France, and Switzerland. The tour will be followed by visits to Brazil, Mexico and Chile.
