There is so little footage of the band with Geoff Mann, so thankfully they were invited on to the David Essex Showcase TV show in 1982.
The song was originally a B-side to the band’s 1982 single “Eleanor Rigby.” It was also on their “Smiling At Grief” cassette which has since been re-released on CD and vinyl.
fun fact: In 2022, the band released the album as “Smiling At Grief… Revisited” on limited edition white vinyl, with remixed versions of the original songs. Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree) remixed “East Of Eden” for the album.
