“As you can see from the gig list, we’re doing a short tour with our Italian brothers, La Maschera Di Cera. They may not be well known here but are very well established and respected in Europe… and happen to be brilliant!! This will be their first UK tour, organised by ‘Prog For Peart” promotor Mark Cunningham, so please come and support them if you can.
For us, it’s our first London show in over 10 years! I’m pretty sure the last one was The Underworld in 2012! I remember this particularly because Steven Wilson was in the audience and asked me afterwards if I still had the master tapes for Silent Dance so he might remix a couple of tracks… like I was going to say no
Those remixes were originally added to 2013’s Prophecy album but one has just been included in a retrospective release… more on that below.” – Solstice

One of our “Guardians” Mark Earll, asked me if we could do an online lesson covering, appropriately, the “Guardian” guitar solo. I said sure but then thought, we’re so indebted to our “Guardians” and maybe there’s others who might be interested, so put this together instead. TBH I really enjoyed making it so thanks Mark!!

“We’re so fortunate to not only have amazing supporters, but also names like Barry Robinson championing our music. Barry’s covered Light Up in several videos and brought the music to many new listeners as a result. As part of that series we put together a ‘Beginners Guide To Solstice’ which includes a remastered track from each album (except for Steven Wilson’s remix of Find Yourself.. I mean who would touch that) and live tracks representing Sia and Light Up. It’s 70 minutes of music and may be of interest to any unfamiliar with the back catalogue.” – Solstice
It’s available to download as Flac, Wav or mp3 from our Ko-fi shop for as little as the price of a coffee.
