Bergen, Norway based Progressive Doom Metal band Goatmilker have unveiled new single “Cancerlung” taken from their upcoming EP, “Gods & Monsters,” set for release on October 30, 2026.
“Cancerlung” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
Goatmilker are back with a new batch of unpolished Progressive Metal. Featuring layered vocals, soaring psychedelic parts and a bunch of crushing riffs, the band pushes its sound into previously unexplored territory.
The lyrics on “Gods & Monsters” delwes into themes of human actions and their consequences, with deep roots in Gothic Horror and Science Fiction.
Musically inspired by bands such as Mastodon, Black Sabbath and Voivod, this EP delivers a mix of Cosmic chaos, dystopian atmospheres and raw power, wrapped in a surprisingly accessible package.
With a more focused approach, “Gods & Monsters” is a heavier, darker and more Experimental release than the band’s self-titled 2025 debut album, marking the next chapter in Goatmilker’s evolution.
