Polish Progressive Metal outfit BlackLight is thrilled to announce their signing with Wormholedeath Records for the release of their highly anticipated third album, “Future Belongs To,” set to drop on March 21, 2025.
Formed in 2019 by Maciej Majewski, BlackLight quickly carved out a unique Progressive Metal sound. Their debut album, “Follow the Future,” recorded in Kraków’s Studio 13 and Studio Centrum, was well-received by fans and critics, leading to live performances on Antyradio’s Makakofonia and other major stations.
In 2021, the band recorded their second album, “River of Time,” released by Metal Rock Promotion in early 2022. A lineup change in late 2023 saw drummer Stanisław Skowroński join, with Majewski taking over vocals. With this refreshed lineup, BlackLight recorded “Future Belongs To,” a conceptual album set for release by Wormholedeath.
“Future Belongs To” is a Progressive Metal conceptual album and a remarkable Progressive Rock album that showcases BlackLight‘s solid and cohesive artistry. Rich with melancholy and calm tones, it creates a versatile vibe perfect for any situation.
