German bassist Randy M. Salo releases the stand-alone single “Writing in the Dark” on January 21, 2022 and publish the official audio on his YouTube channel. Stream the single through the player below:
Randy says about the single: “This one-off single is based on a short story by the same name, which comes with a purchase of the song. Unlike the sci-fi leanings of Titan Agronomist Project, this track is more rooted in gothic horror and the short story is written in the style of magic realism. When I decided to write music based on this story I decided to use a certain set of folk-ish instrumentation instead of traditional synth sounds to give it a period flavor. The music was inspired by Wojciech Kilar’s score for Franics Ford Coppola’s Bram Stoker’s Dracula.“
