Heavy Rock/Alternative outfit Red Temple Pray have unleashed the new single “Bottle Rocket” with an accompanying official video. “Bottle Rocket” lands ahead of the band’s upcoming debut full-length. The album, titled “Can It Get Any Worse?” will be released on February 09, 2024.
Vocalist Josh Richter comments: “We chose the song ‘Bottle Rocket’ specifically to bring the mood down to more of an intimate vibe after releasing our previous single ‘Down The Drain.’ This song is about being in a relationship that both parties know is coming to an end. When you get to that point where you realize the only thing you have in common with each other is sex and thinking that in itself can be the one thing that keeps the relationship going. It’s like putting a bandaid over cancer.”

With their melancholic Pop hooks and riff-Heavy sound, the band sonically captures the weight and mood that could only be described as “having a hangover on your deathbed.” The band emerged initially as a side project in 2015, before reaching their current and now established lineup in 2021. 2022 saw the release of their debut EP “Violently Lush,” and now the quartet are preparing to unveil their first full-length record, “Can It Get Any Worse?,” on February 9th, 2024.
