In a new interview with Czech Republic’s Backstage TV, former Kamelot and current Conception singer Roy Khan spoke about his plans to eventually release a solo LP.
“I am not completely sure what it will be about, but it is starting to take shape. If all goes well, I will release something this year presenting material that I have already recorded. The first series I will present will be a sequence of cover songs where the theme will be related to ‘my first times’: I will perform covers of the first song I heard, the first song in Norwegian, the first song from a musical I did, the first Christmas song, the very first track I sang… That will be the main theme of this first round of streaming concerts, but I will also have a lot of original songs.” – Roy Khan
