Following the recent release of the ambitious Progressive Metal concept album “The Seed of Chaos,” the Seattle-based project Ruin and Reverie has released a new lyrics visualizer for the track “Pt. VI: Without Night, Without Day,” featuring the iconic vocals of Ray Alder (Fates Warning).

“The Seed of Chaos” is a meticulously crafted ten-track journey that chronicles humanity’s final departure from a dying Earth and the search for a new home. “Pt. VI: Without Night, Without Day” serves as a pivotal psychological chapter in this narrative, exploring the internal friction and “rusted dreams” of survivors living under holographic skies.
The track highlights the existential weight of the voyage, with lyrics—penned by Ray Alder himself—that question whether humanity is “better off this way,” drifting through the void with “empty minds and hearts” while longing for a “cold November sun.”
The project is the brainchild of composer and producer Peri Rocha, who wrote and performed all the music. The track features a powerhouse lineup of international talent.
The album was produced, mixed, and mastered by Rodrigo Oliveira at Dharma Studios, ensuring a sonorous blend of Heavy, Melodic, and Cinematic elements designed to be experienced as a continuous narrative.
